In recognition of an outstanding DBE Contractor that has shown the greatest growth in sales, workforce and overall business development. This firm has performed high quality work on VDOT contracts.
Outstanding DBE Consultant of the Year Award
In recognition of an outstanding DBE Contractor that has shown the greatest growth in sales, workforce and overall business development. This firm has performed high quality work on VDOT contracts and has been creative and innovative.
Outstanding DBE Transportation of Materials of the Year Award
In recognition of an outstanding DBE Transportation of Materials business that has shown the greatest growth in sales, workforce and overall business development. This firm has performed a high level of hauling of materials on VDOT contracts.
Outstanding DBE Supplier of the Year Award
In recognition of an outstanding DBE Supplier that has shown the greatest growth in sales, workforce and overall business development. This firm has performed a high level of service and products on VDOT contracts.
DBE Rookie of the Year Award
In recognition of a top performing DBE business that has been certified for less than two (2) years.
DBE Trailblazer Award
In recognition of an individual who has been identified as an early leader in the transportation industry, therefore paving the way for other DBEs to follow.
Prime Contractor of the Year Award
In recognition of a Prime Contractor that has assisted in the development of DBE firms through the awarding of subcontracts to DBE firms.
Prime Consultant of the Year Award
In recognition of a Prime Consultant that has assisted in the development of DBE firms through the awarding of subcontracts to DBE firms.
BOWD Award
In recognition of an outstanding DBE firm that has shown the most engagement and support of the BOWD Center and its activities.
