VDOT is hosting the 2026 Southeastern Regional Roadeo on October 6th through October 8th. This competition between 13 states promotes skilled advancement for employees whose jobs require the operation of heavy equipment. To increase the safety awareness level of employees working in or around work zones. To increase employee morale and value. To strengthen the presence of team spirit and teamwork and recognize the best equipment operators in a friendly competitive atmosphere.
