Lodging
We are pleased to finally have a limited number of campus dorm rooms available for the conference. You can learn about the dorm here and the registration process at this link. See the dorm section below for additional details.
We were also able to secure an additional small room block at a negotiated rate at the Holiday Inn Express, which is a short drive to campus. Reserve a room here.
Note that the conference will run for three full days. We suggest booking lodging for four nights (June 1-5, 2026).
We encourage room sharing. If you are looking for a roommate, we have created a google form to assist in finding a roommate.
Meeting Hotels
All three of our allocated hotel room blocks are now FULL. You can still attempt to reserve rooms directly through the three hotel websites (but no longer at our negotiated conference rate), or check alternative accommodations through Airbnb and other local hotels such as the Inn at Virginia Tech, the Main Street Inn, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, the Comfort Inn, and the Hilton Garden Inn. Please be aware that these hotels are at variable distances from the University.
We still hope to offer a limited number of dormitory rooms, but these require that you bring your own pillow, linens, and towel. We continue to await this allocation of dorm rooms but are hopeful that details will be announced in early May.

“A limited number of campus dorm rooms are available for the conference. You can learn about the dorm here and the registration process at this link. The dorm is a short 5 minute walk to most of the conference venues. Dorm rooms are single or double occupancy. If you select double occupancy, the University Housing office requires that you identify your roommate during the registration process. If you need to connect with others to find a roommate, you can use this google form.
Note that rooms are suite-style, meaning that adjoining rooms share a bathroom. Please also note that bedding and towels are not provided, so you will need to bring your own pillow, bedding, and towel.
Please only reserve a dorm room if you were unable to secure a hotel room (i.e., please don’t cancel your hotel) to ensure those requiring a dorm can actually reserve one. Housing is limited in Blacksburg during the week of the conference.
